Spinal Injections May Not Help Lower Back Pain

Steroid Shots For Back Pain Sufferers Proven No More Effective Than A Placebo

The common cause of low back pain, lumbosacral radiculopathy (also known as sciatica) is a condition that stems from damaged vertebral discs that compress the sciatic nerve causing numbness or pain radiating down the legs.

Because of the lack of substantial proof that back surgery can bring long term benefits and the serious side effects that come with pain medicines, Doctors have increasingly turned to epidural steroid injections to treat back pain.

A recent study  in the April 17 issue of Annals of Internal Medicine proved that steroid shots for lower back pain were no more effective than a placebo.

New technique great for TMJ. I just had one of Morgan’s great massages and it was wonderful as always. During the massage, Morgan used a new device involving suction cups on my jaw area. I was suspicious of it at first, but after it was done, I became a believer. My jaw felt great after the technique was done and it continued to feel relaxed and pain-free for days afterwards. Not only would I recommend Morgan for deep-tissue massages, but now I would recommend anyone that experiences jaw pain to see Morgan.
