Spinal Injections May Not Help Lower Back Pain

Steroid Shots For Back Pain Sufferers Proven No More Effective Than A Placebo

The common cause of low back pain, lumbosacral radiculopathy (also known as sciatica) is a condition that stems from damaged vertebral discs that compress the sciatic nerve causing numbness or pain radiating down the legs.

Because of the lack of substantial proof that back surgery can bring long term benefits and the serious side effects that come with pain medicines, Doctors have increasingly turned to epidural steroid injections to treat back pain.

A recent study  in the April 17 issue of Annals of Internal Medicine proved that steroid shots for lower back pain were no more effective than a placebo.

Whatever is hurting! Morgan will fix it! Recently, I experienced lower back pain and after an hour massage with Morgan, I felt great! During the previous visit, I had been experiencing pain in my left foot for months. I even got a cortisone injection from a medical doctor but the shot didn’t ease my pain but when I told Morgan about the problem his therapeutic hands massaged the area on my foot for about ten minutes and the pain was gone! Thank you, Morgan!
